Family targeted in 'race' attack.(Incident Reports)

Police are investigating what they have described as a racist attack in County Armagh.

A Polish family awoke at about 0125 recently--to find their car, parked outside their home at Orchard Park, Loughgall, had been set on fire.

Petrol had been poured over a rear tyre and set alight. The family said it was not the first time that they had been attacked.

On previous occasions the doors and the windows of their home were kicked.

Their car had also been damaged and the mother had been verbally abused.

Ulster Unionist assembly member Danny Kennedy said the attack was "despicable and totally unacceptable".

He said such attacks were carried out by a very small number of people who were unrepresentative of the local community. …
