Fallen Hertfordshire firefighters.

On 2nd February 2005, two firefighters tragically died at the scene of a major fire in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Michael Miller and Jeff Wornham lost their lives whilst attempting to rescue a trapped member of the public, in an incident at a high-rise tower block. During the traumatic and emotional period after this tragedy, the FSNBF were able to help support the families and colleagues of the two firefighters, and commemorate their lives.

FSNBF Chief Executive Roy Lawrenson, in attendance at the remembrance service for the firefighters, expressed his sorrow at the loss. …
