Gift Aid contributions make all the difference.

After careful research and consideration, contributions to the charity's Gift Aid scheme were increased during late 2004. Although increases to the individuals' contributions were relatively minor, the charity are very pleased to have already benefited immensely from the collective result, and are ploughing these extra resources back into helping more beneficiaries than ever before.

The campaign increased the level of Gift Aid donations to a minimum of 3[pounds sterling] per person, and donors were advised of this increase in a letter which accompanied the Autumn / Winter issue of Firemark. The increase request was intended to ensure that the administration costs of an individual's donation did not exceed the amount they were donating. …
