The vital lifesaving role of Britain's emergency services are to be highlighted for the fourth year in the Vodafone Life Savers awards presented by the Daily Express with ITV's This Morning television programme.

Those whose stories are selected by the judges will be honoured at 10 Downing Street by the Prime Minister before joining a 300-strong star-studded audience at the Savoy hotel for the annual Awards gala luncheon.

Vodafone is also launching this year's awards with a national awareness campaign called 'ICE'--In Case of Emergency--urging everyone in Britain to store next of kin details in their mobile phones. By entering the letters ICE into the mobile's phone book, users can log the name and number of someone who should be contacted in an emergency. …
