County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service has been re awarded 'Investor in People' status in recognition of the Service's commitment to the training and development of its staff.

Following a comprehensive internal review, the service which employs over 650 firefighting and support staff and provides fire, rescue and community safety services to over half a million residents throughout County Durham and Darlington--was able to demon strafe a strong commitment to the development of its people along skit clear aims and objectives for the service over the next year
