There are big-city marathons and then there is the New York City Marathon, the FSNBF has yet again managed to secure places at this exclusive event. For just a small registration fee and minimum amount of sponsorship, you can now book your place in the 2004 daddy of all big city marathons, which this year takes place on November 7th.

The race was started in 1970 with just 55 runners and, until 1976, was held entirely in Central Park. It then moved to the now familiar five-borough route that is synonymous with this great event--a route which takes in Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx and Central Park--and now attracts over 30,000 runners, 12,000 volunteers and millions of spectators. …
