Fire Service brand launched.(News)

March saw the launch of fire and rescue services support branding from the LGA. The support brand was launched with the aim of meeting the challenges of effectively communicating to the wider world the changes that are taking place within individual services, and their impact on public safety.

An LGA spokesperson commented: "In the ever burgeoning 21st century communications market, the need for visual material and branding to recognizably represent the vision of an organisation or partnership cannot, nor should not, be underestimated."

The support brand is not a replacement for individual badges or logos but a means of bringing all the visual material of the service together to give a more cohesive, dynamic feel. …
