LGA launches sprinkler campaign.(News)

The LGA's sprinkler campaign was launched in early March under the headline 'While Government builds them, children burn them down--the policy mistake that currently costs UK schools 100 million [pounds sterling] a year in fire damage'.

The main thrust of the campaign is that the move to a risk based approach should have resulted in building regulations to ensure all newly built schools are installed with sprinkler systems.
