Scotland's Deputy Justice Minister, Hugh Henry MSP, recently launched the Safe Drive--Stay Alive road safety campaign at Fife Fire and Rescue Service.

The scheme, based on the concept used in Northern Ireland is the first of its kind on mainland Britain, is targeted at reducing the number of RTAs, particularly among young inexperienced drivers. The emphasis of the road show, which is to performed to all Fife's fifth year students, is on highlighting the dangers of excessive speed, "boy racing" and the inappropriate use of mobiles. …
