Smoother Waters?

A year ago at this time, the agricultural industry was facing its future with many cross currents in play.

Major industry consolidations and acquisitions were announced with no known outcomes. Ag commodity prices were falling. So were equipment sales. Where was the bottom? How long would they stay there?

All of that is still in play. However, there are now some knowns for agri-marketers charging into the new year:

1. The DowDuPont merger has been completed. The companies still need time to sort through their strategies and activities, but those are underway and will be implemented shortly.
