The Northern Onondaga Public Library's second annual "Great Start" School Supply Drive is under way in Cicero, North Syracuse and Brewerton.

NOPL is taking donations of new, never-used school supplies to be distributed to children who need them. Library officials say the last drive was a success.

People wanting to donate supplies can drop them off at any of the three NOPL branches. Round plastic tubs have been placed near the entrance of each library. So far there have been a few donations, a T-shirt, pencils, glue, crayons and a pack of notebook paper.
