Children's art masterpieces at heart of Head Start annual silent auction.(Government)

Those talented little kids in local Head Start preschool programs have been at it again, creating 40 works of art that will be sold via a silent auction that ends Thursday.

The matted and framed paintings - including several examples of painting on foil - have been hung across the hall from Cafe Today on the basement level of the county's Public Service Building at 125 E. Eighth Ave. in downtown Eugene, and people already have begun placing bids for their favorites.
