Rearing fur-bearing animals has become one of the main businesses for Chinese farmers to earn extra money.
Information from a recent national symposium on development strategy for fur-bearing animals disclosed that about one million minks are reared in China, while the foxes and racoon dogs bred amount to 1.5 million head.
