MACHINE TOOLS MANUFACTURERS reported a significant increase in new orders for both metal cutting and metal-forming tools for U.S. consumption in June, according to data released by the Association for Manufacturing Technology - based in McLean, Va. - and the Rockville, Md.-based American Machine Tool Distribution Association.
