School Stores Supply Lessons As Well As Pens, Pencils ; Students Keep Shelves Stocked With Inventory
Tornado Villa may sound like an upscale neighborhood in Kansas, but for students in the School District of Lancaster, it's a place to get their supplies without worrying about getting a ride.
The school store, staffed by students, sells supplies students might not have easy access to in the urban district where relatively few have cars.
They can buy anything from pens, pencils and USB flash drives all the way up to spirit wear, said Rachel Esh, who works in special education learning support at J.P. McCaskey High School and set up its store.
