Tenth WFLO European Education Program packed with lots to see and do in Holland.(Warehousing World)

"Shifting Borders in Food Logistic Operations; The Cold Chain in 2010 and Beyond" is the theme for the 10th WFLO European Education Program scheduled for February 5 and 6, 2007, at the Movenpick Hotel in downtown Amsterdam.

Alf Carr, director-general of the British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF), will be the keynote speaker. He will comment on the current state of the UK and European frozen food markets, and address the issue of why frozen food consumption appears to under pressure in certain countries.

Among other issues and questions Carr is expected to discuss are the effect of retail price wars on margins, and competition from fresh and chilled products. …
