ABA advocates for more rural bus, ADA funds in reauthorization.

The American Bus Association (ABA) is calling for the Senate-level of funding for intercity and rural bus transportation.

As Congress finishes reorganizing committee assignments for the next two years, federal lawmakers will soon begin work in earnest to reauthorize the long-awaited surface transportation bill.

With the current extension set to expire in May, the House and Senate plan to reintroduce the bills they passed last year, H.R. 3550 and S. 1072.
