Vernon Hills company says millions in equipment stolen.(News)

Police are investigating the reported burglary of millions of dollars in electronics equipment from a Vernon Hills corporate headquarters.

Authorities refused to discuss details, but acknowledged a continuing probe into the incident reported on May 5 at Brightstar Corporation, 625 Forest Edge Drive, Vernon Hills. Brightstar distributes wireless phones for several manufacturers, including Motorola, and provides other services, such has inventory management, to the wireless industry.
