HUD: Housing unfair at racetrack Arlington Park moves workers with children into cramped, unfit buildings, documents say.(News)

Federal housing authorities Thursday charged Arlington Park Racecourse and the track's owner, Churchill Downs LLC, with violating fair housing laws by forcing workers with children to live in crowded buildings with no plumbing along its backstretch.

The workers with children are forced to live in worse buildings than those without children, even though vacancies exist in the better buildings, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development charged in a seven-page federal document.
