Prospect trio's way above average.(Sports Extra)

There has been a different law of averages this spring for Prospect.
Getting 2 hits in 4 at-bats is almost always considered an above-average day at the plate. It would figure to result in a guaranteed rise in the batting average.
But J.D. Rotzoll, George Whitten and Matt Davis have been hitting with higher standards all season.
"The funny thing is, J.D. and George go 2-for-4 and their average goes down," said Prospect coach Ross Giusti of his seniors who have been hitting above .500. "It's a nice problem to have."
A 2-for-4 day by Davis would have had no effect on his .500 average as the Knights headed into their 25th game of the season last week.
So, a frequently asked question by opposing coaches has been, "Do they really have three guys hitting .500?"
