A CONVICTED drugs baron has converted to Islam - so he can get curries behind bars.

Alex Donnelly is serving 10 years for importing pounds 1million of cocaine from Holland and Spain.

But the former Rangers fan stunned staff at Glasgow's Barlinnie prison by announcing he had become a Muslim and now wanted halal food.

He has now been dubbed the Curry King by fellow cons.

A prison source said: "Donnelly claims he is a Muslim and wants halal grub.

"He was a season ticket holder at Ibrox for years and there is no way he was a Muslim back then.

"For years Donnelly has lived in the lap of luxury …
