Newspaper La Prensa Grafica available in five U.S. cities.

The Salvadoran newspaper La Prensa Grafica is now available daily in five U.S. cities.

The paper's news editor Cecilia Gallardo de Cano told EFE Tuesday that circulation was rising strongly in each of the cities where it is distributed.

La Prensa first hit U.S. newsstands in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and Washington on Sept. 9.

The paper, which is printed in El Salvador, is available at around noon each day at places frequented by Salvadorans, such as supermarkets and stores.

The paper is flown in daily by Salvadoran airline TACA.
