Over the last couple of weeks I've spent some time with two extremes of the health care debate - the free-market enthusiasts and the single-payer devotees.

Both sides presented engaging arguments. Neither let the facts get in the way of a good story.

Author and former conservative talk show host David Racer discounted the problem of the uninsured to the St. Louis Health Underwriters Association. "There aren't people dying in the streets," he said.
