TV Tokyo to skip hot dog-eating contest after viewer death.

Television Tokyo Channel 12 Ltd. (TV Tokyo) said Thursday it will not air an annual hot dog-eating contest following the death of a boy who choked in imitating a similar food game.
TV Tokyo President Sadahiko Sugaya said at a regular press conference his company had planned to carry the New York contest July 11 on its popular ''TV Champion'' show, but will air something else in light of the accident.
