General Mills' limited edition Star Wars Episode II Cereal is the company's newest licensing effort, taking advantage of the hype surrounding the next film in the Star Wars saga. The cereal features sweetened corn puffs and seven different marshmallow shapes representing Star Wars characters and objects including a Clone Trooper, red and blue lightsabers, Yoda, R2-D2, the starship Slave I and the Jedi Starfighter. Two different collector's edition holographic packages that incorporate characters and imagery from the new movie are available. Back panels of the cereal boxes contain a board game kids can play using marshmallows from the cereal as playing pieces.
