Linksys, a manufacturer of broadband, wireless, and networking hardware for the Small/Medium Business (SMB), Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) and corporate workgroup environments, has introduced the first plug and play wireless solution that enhances the performance of 2.4GHz 802.11b wireless networks. The new Linksys Wireless Signal Booster (WSB24) easily connects to a Linksys Wireless-B Access Point (WAP11) or Wireless-B Router (BEFW11S4) to "boost" the Wireless-B signal for faster data transmissions at farther-away distances, increasing the effective range and coverage of a home, hotspot or business network.
