NEW HAVEN -- The 53rd annual St. Patrick's Day Parade kicks off at 1 p.m. Sunday starting at Derby Avenue, and travelling down Chapel Street to Church Street, ending at Orange and Grove streets. In addition to two rock band floats there will be more than 3,200 marchers from 145 marching and musical units and officers, past grand marshals and parade committee members will march. This year's parade queen is Katie Morris, her honor attendant is Brittney Lipsett. Grand marshal this year is Brian Enright, a former parade coordinator. All three are from West Haven.
