The purpose of my project is to test the effects of different concentrations of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) on the growth and development of Xenopus tadpoles and eggs. Dissolve 1g of HGH in 100mL of water to make stock solutions of 1%. Make control. Formulate concentrations of HGH. Add 1mL of stock plus 9mL of water = .1%. Remove tadpoles from tank. Label four petri dishes, three with the concentrations of HGH and one for control. Place 5 tadpoles into each petri dish with 20mL of HGH. Observe rate of survival and development 24 hours …
