DEFENSE SECURITY COOPERATION AGENCY NOTIFIES CONGRESS OF POSSIBLE FOREIGN MILITARY SALE TO EGYPT - TOW 2A ANTI-ARMOR GUIDED MISSILES

The U.S. Department of Defense's Security Cooperation Agency issued the following 36(b) arms sale notification:

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Egypt of TOW 2A Anti-Armor Guided Missiles as well as associated equipment and services. The total value, if all options are exercised, could be as high as $319 million.

The Government of Egypt has requested a possible sale of 6,900 TOW 2A anti-armor guided missiles, plus 28 fly-to-buy missiles.
