Commission approval of public comment period extension - By a vote of 4-0, the Commission has approved an extension of the public comment period related to the recently proposed amendment to the platinum section of the FTC's Guides for the Jewelry, Precious Metals, and Pewter Industries, commonly known as the Jewelry Guides. On February 26, 2008, the Commission published its request for comments on a proposed amendment to the platinum section of the Guides.
