Pennsylvania Inventor Develops Production Data Preparation Process

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 21 -- Jeremy C. Herr of Jenkintown, Pa., has developed a production data preparation process.

An abstract of the invention, released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, said: "A process is provided to prepare production data for a print job. The production data includes an electronic document defined by a page description language (PDL). The electronic document is stored in a PDL image file, such as a Postscript file, a portable document format file, or the like.
